Waterproofing according to 9 Point System
Waterproof CORRUGARED IRON & IBR roofs strictly according to Absolute Waterproofing's 9 point system.
9 POINT SYSTEM
Thoroughly prepare total roof surface with hand and mechanical equipment to assure adhesion of the pure vice-seal roof covering
Replace only damaged or rotten 75x50mm roof timber where necessary to ensure secure roof screws.
Replace all lose and lost roof screws on overlaps with new Leak King Screws.
Rivet all overlaps with Avdel aluminium waterproof rivets.
Apply one coat pure vice-seal waterproofing emulsion on all overlaps, horizontal & vertical on all screws and ridges.
75 mm polyester membrane gets embedded in wet emulsion.
Saturate with a second coat waterproofing emulsion.
After a suitable drying time, apply two coats pure vice-seal roof coating on total roof surface.
Remove all rubble and tidy site after completion.
